🥢“Hot pot is a 1,000-year-old cooking method, with roots in northern China and Mongolia. Called “huo guo” in Mandarin, it is a way to cook meats, seafood and vegetables in a simmering pot of hot broth, set majestically at the center of the dining table. While the broth is simmering, the ingredients are placed into the pot and cooked right at the table.
